Foreign Investment that will Bring Electricity to the Island Barangays of Iloilo Province’s 5th District

Ltd. who are looking into developing a 30 megawatt solar farm in Western Visayas.

The Taiwanese companies show particular interest in electrifying the island barangays of the 5th district of Iloilo Province. In this regard, they met with Iloilo 5th district Congressman Raul “Boboy”Tupas and Iloilo Electric Cooperative 3 (Ileco 3) General Manager Atty. James Balsomo. During the meeting, the construction of a solar farm which will provide 24-hour supply of stable and sufficient electric power to ILECO 3 was discussed.
